I. Product Overview

Our single-jet dry-dial water meter is a velocity-type meter designed for accurate measurement of potable water consumption in residential and light commercial applications. II. Operating Principle

Water enters the meter body through the inlet and passes through a single jet nozzle, which directs a concentrated stream against the vane wheel at the tip of its blades. The impact of the water jet causes the vane wheel to rotate at a speed directly proportional to the water flow velocity. This rotation is transmitted magnetically—through a magnetic coupling—to the sealed register, where the totalized volume of water passing through the meter is displayed and recorded. The dry-dial design ensures that the counting mechanism is completely isolated from the water, preventing fogging and keeping the reading clear over the long term.

Single-Jet Design: Uses a single input port to create a focused jet of water against the impeller, providing accurate measurement in smaller pipe sizes commonly used in residential settings.

Dry-Dial Register: The counting mechanism is vacuum-sealed and physically separated from the water flow. This prevents condensation and fogging, ensuring the dial remains clear and readable throughout the meter's service life.

Magnetic Drive: The rotation of the vane wheel is transmitted to the register via a magnetic coupling, eliminating the need for mechanical feed-throughs that can wear or leak.
